Support network and ongoing services
Our tutors offer their students a large support network that goes above and beyond their tutoring sessions.
Our tutors are there for their students around the clock. Should students encounter a problem whilst doing homework between sessions, they can text or email their tutor who will reply as soon as they can. Our tutors will try their best to answer questions promptly.
Need another tutor?
We have such a variety and abundance of talent in the Hampstead Academy, should you require another tutor, we will be happy to assist.
Here are some examples of when this proves useful:
The Hampstead Academy will match you to a new tutor using our matching service. We hope you are happy with the tutors we provide; any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
A learning disability should never prevent a student from obtaining academic success. Our tutors are well-trained in how to respond to, and adapt their teaching to a wide range of scenarios, including (but not limited to): ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, and visual or auditory impairment. This doesn’t deter our tutors nor reduce their efficiency during a lesson. Just like every other student they teach, our tutors adapt their lessons to a different learning style.
As part of tuition lessons for A2 students, our tutors can help with university applications. Our tutors know the process of applying to university very well, and are excited to pass their knowledge onto their students.
As such, our tutors help their students write "personal statements"; essentially one of the hardest things they will be required to write all year! They help with interview preparation, asking demanding questions challenging both their academics and personal views. This teaches students to debate reasonably whilst maintaining their beliefs.
