Only the best...
We only accept the best tutors; teachers, top university students and high achieving graduates.
Accepting the best tutors doesn't mean the tutors with the most experience; it means the tutors with the most potential. We live in a world where a 25 year old is asked for 30 years experience. Regardless of experience, our tutors are put through an extensive training programme. Consistency is important. The Hampstead Academy uses qualified teachers and tutors to individually assess and vet each of our tutors; we know they're outstanding. Our tutors come from some of the best universities; namely Russell Group and Oxbridge. We expect no less from our tutors then what they deliver to their students... transcendence. |
...delivering more than just exam prep...Our tutors offer far more than just exam preparation. Our tutors are role models to their students, demonstrating the rewards of hard work and good grades.
Our tutors are mentors, offering advice ranging from career choices and university applications to simply being someone to confide in. Our comprehensive support network consisting of qualified teachers, experienced tutors and successful students is available to you. Are you preparing for a medicine interview? Do you want to go to Oxbridge? Will you need help writing that personal statement? These are some of the services that we incorporate into our tuition. |
...but acing exams!Exam technique is not about teaching the test, it's about the know-how.
Our tutors develop their students as individuals bringing them to the highest level of analysis. Our tutors use a range of techniques that help their students make sense of new information and skills. Exam questions are being asked in an increasingly convoluted way; learning to read the question, and read in-between the lines is often overlooked in revision. Our tutors place a large emphasis on learning how to read exam questions and how to answer them. Our tutors rigorously cover past papers and mark them with their students providing continuous feedback. Practice only makes perfect when you know what you're doing right and where you need to improve. |
